RunOmics — Running Analytics Platform

Privacy-first running analytics platform transforming Garmin Connect and FIT activity data into training, performance and route insights.

End-to-end design and full-stack development across a domain-oriented TypeScript application, Python data pipeline, automated testing, CI/CD and public demo deployment.

  • Architected a layered, domain-oriented TypeScript application and Python Garmin/FIT pipeline for activity metrics, weather enrichment and GPS processing.
  • Designed a privacy-first data architecture separating real Garmin data from the public codebase, with server-only storage, GPS privacy-zone cropping and deterministic synthetic demo data.
  • Automated quality and delivery through GitHub Actions and Vercel, backed by unit, integration and E2E testing with Vitest, Playwright and pytest.

    • Built a configurable quality-control solution with schema validation, database-stored RulesEngine logic and xUnit coverage, while evolving tested integration middleware for an external provider.
    • Migrated a cancer-registry backend from Docker Swarm to OpenShift, standardising four deployment environments with Jenkins and Argo CD.
    • Mentored engineers through code reviews and pair programming in a multicultural team.
